What types of payment do you accept at the event for admission?

We accept cash only for daily admissions. Admission is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children each day.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available on-site the day of the event, cash only. There is no ATM on-site. You can purchase a membership online which includes 2 adult wristbands good for the entire Annual Show. For more information about becoming a member, visit our Membership page.

Do you offer refunds?

No. The event is *rain or shine, and daily admission tickets are sold only on the day of the event.

Is the event rain or shine?

Yes, we will stay open for light or nominal rain. However, if there is heavy rain that could cause vehicles to get stuck, damage the property, or create safety issues, we may have to cancel. Cancellation may affect only part of the event, not necessarily all four days. We will post updates on our social media in case of weather-related cancellations. We prioritize the safety of our guests and respect for the property.

Is there group pricing?

No.

At what age does a child need a ticket?

Children aged 2 or older need a ticket. For children aged 2-11, admission is $4.00 per day. General kids’ activities are included.

Do you offer military, senior citizen, or other discounts?

No. While we deeply respect and appreciate our community members, WCTA is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all admission costs are donations that help fund our organization and the Annual Show.

ADA access and accommodations?

We provide ADA parking on the show grounds. The event is outdoors, so all-terrain vehicles are highly recommended for personal transportation.

The flea market, craft fairs, vendors, featured exhibit, sawmill, corn shelling, and some additional exhibits are located in a grassy, lawn-like area accessible by mobility scooters. Other areas may require all-terrain vehicles.

A people mover wagon runs throughout the show grounds. Its floor is 12” above the ground, with two 6” steps. This wagon cannot transport scooters. For additional accommodations or individual needs, please contact Brad Eike at (815) 378-3674.

You can bring your own Gator or Golf Cart, which must be registered for $10 at the registration/admission table. You will need to show proof of valid insurance and agree to our rules and regulations. View and download our Golf Cart & Utility Vehicle Guidelines & Agreement here.

What time do the doors open?

Doors open 9:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM daily.

Where should I park and is parking free?

Parking is free on the show grounds. Follow the signs and directions from the parking crew. Please park responsibly to maximize space for all attendees.

Can I bring my gator, golf cart, or utility vehicle?

Yes, but note the rules and regulations:

  • All golf carts and utility vehicles driven on the grounds must have their registration tag visible always. This tag will be a wrist band that we ask you to place around the steering column or canopy support.

  • Registration Fee is $10.

  • Driver must show valid proof of insurance for the vehicle at registration.

  • All drivers must be 16 or over and have a valid driver’s license.

  • All passengers must have a seat.

  • Pedestrians always have the right of way.

  • All traffic laws are to be obeyed.

  • No vehicles are allowed in the tents and buildings.

  • Zero tolerance for horse play and endangerment. Anyone caught driving recklessly or causing endangerment to themselves / others will have their registration revoked with no refund and will be required to park their vehicle or leave the grounds as instructed.

  • Please do not block the roads or fire lanes with your vehicle. The show has other vehicles that need priority access. Park your vehicle out of the way when you are not driving it.

  • The Will County Threshermen’s Association will not be liable or held responsible for any accidents.

  • Bicycles, scooters, mopeds, and similar things are not permitted to be ridden around the show. You may arrive to the show on these modes of transportation, however; you might wish park the vehicle in the parking area gate. Walking is the easiest way to enjoy our show.

Is there somewhere I can camp with an RV or tent?

ublic camping is not allowed on WCTA show grounds. You may park your motorhome in the onsite parking during show hours while you attend the show.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, but please consider if you need to bring your animal and how it will respond to the environment. Our show has large, loud machinery, loud whistles, crowded areas, etc. which can frighten animals. The show is on large grounds outdoors in a rural area with fields, and no proper way to contain your animal from running off. All animals must be properly leashed. You must clean up after your pets and properly dispose of waste. Any guest will be asked to vacate the premises if their animal is causing any issues during the event. You are responsible for your pets.

For a multi-day event, is my ticket good for either or all days?

No. Tickets are purchased on the day of each event date and are good for only that date. Members have a wristband that works for all days of the event. More info about becoming a member: Membership

Is there an age limit or are there ID requirements to enter the event?

This event is all ages. Any minors must be accompanied by an adult. There will be active machinery on show grounds and you are expected to watch after the safety of your minors or those with accompaniment needs.

Are there any Covid-19 safety procedures in place?

This is an outdoor event. Masks are optional. Help keep each other healthy.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By attending The Annual Antique Tractor & Steam Engine Show, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Please follow recommended CDC & Illinois State Guidelines.

Where is the entrance?

There is one entrance/exit for the event and it is at the parking area. Please do not attempt to go over fences. Please be honest and pay the admission fee at the gate.

Can I leave the event and re-enter?

Yes.
