What’s New to the WCTA

Website Navigation:

• The home page will offer assorted opportunities to interact with the website features. It includes our current call to action items and a brief look into the organization.

• The navigation is at the top of the website and includes drop down navigation items. On mobile, you can find it by pressing the hamburger menu which is 3 horizontal bars.

• Annual show: includes links to information about the Annual Show (Schedule, Civil War, Craft & Vendor Info, Exhibitor Info, Tractor Pulls, FAQs, Sponsors, Poster)

• Events: When we have events coming up, they will be listed here

• Get Involved: includes information and links on Becoming a Member, Making a Donation, Sponsorship Opportunities, and Volunteering.

• Gallery: includes photos, videos and media from our events and organization.

  • Click on the event you would like to see photos of. You can make the images larger by clicking on one

  • Use the arrows to the right and left of the image or the arrow keys on your computer to go through the images like a slideshow.

  • If you want to save an image, just right click on the image, and choose “save as.”

• About: includes links to information about the organization and the Board of Directors

• Newsletters: includes a blog of our newsletters (PDF Files are being added for download)

• Raffle Tickets: includes a product listing which allows you to purchase raffle tickets through our website.

• At the top left of our website, you can use the social media images to navigate to our Instagram and Facebook pages.

• At the top right of our website, you can see the cart for purchasing memberships, raffle tickets, any other items we may add in the future. You can also see a donate button for making a convenient donation online.

• At the bottom of our website, you can see a newsletter signup subscription box for the general public.

Social media

• Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/willcountythresh

  • Please invite all of your friends to follow us. Go to our Facebook Page. Click the 3 horizontal dots next to the search magnify glass, then click on “Invite Friends.” Here you can use the check box to select all friends, or you can choose specific friends.

• Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/willcountythresh/

  • Share our posts to your story. Under an image, click on drawing of a paper airplane. Select “add post to your story.” Then you can add music, stickers, etc.; or just click “your story” or “send to > (your story or select friends to send to).

  • Go to our profile page and click the 3 horizontal dots on the upper right corner, then click “Share this profile.” You can choose friends to share the profile to.

• AmazonSmile is a way customers can support their favorite charitable organization every time they shop with Amazon, at no additional cost.

• Customers who shop at smile.amazon.com will find the same Amazon they know and love, with the added bonus that AmazonSmile will donate a portion of the eligible purchase price to the charity of your choice.

  • How to sign up for AmazonSmile

    • If you prefer to shop using a web browser:

      • Visit smile.amazon.com

      • Sign in with the same account you use for Amazon.com

      • Select your charity

      • Start shopping! Remember to checkout at smile.amazon.com to generate donations for your chosen charity.
        Tip: Add a bookmark to make it easier to shop at smile.amazon.com

    • If you shop using the Amazon app on your mobile phone:

      • Open the Amazon Shopping app

      • Navigate to the main menu (=)

      • Tap on Settings and then select “AmazonSmile”

      • Select your charity and then follow the on-screen instructions to turn ON AmazonSmile in the mobile app

      • Once AmazonSmile has been activated in your app, future eligible app purchases will generate a donation for the charity you have selected.
        Note: The tablet app is not yet supported. Please visit smile.amazon.com/on the go to learn more.

PayPal Giving Fund Donations

• You can now make donations directly though the WCTA website. You can also use this link: paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/2228898

• Raising funds to benefit charities:

  • PayPal Giving Fund helps people support their favorite charities online. We receive donations through PayPal, eBay, and other technology platforms and make grants to our donors' recommended charities. PayPal Giving Fund is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) public charity (Federal Tax ID: 45-0931286).

• How it works:

  • Charities enroll with PayPal Giving Fund

  • Supporters donate on PayPal, eBay, and other online platforms

  • PayPal Giving Fund (ppgf) receive donations and provides receipts to donors

  • PayPal Giving Fund grants funds to charities, directly to their PayPal accounts
